Workplace mobility is a programme, not a truck booking. The six phases below mirror how MoveNXT runs office relocation across technology campuses, banking HQs and shared-service centres in India.
Phase 1 — Site survey and floor planning
Measure both buildings: lift capacity, dock access, after-hours rules, cable pathways. Map old desk numbers to new floor plan so every carton label resolves to a destination workstation.
Phase 2 — Inventory and communication
Tag workstations, pedestals and meeting-room assets. Issue employee packing guidelines: personal items in labelled bags, no loose cables. HR publishes move-week FAQs — parking, badge access, WFH days.
Phase 3 — Pack and colour-code
Crews pack in zone order, colour-coded by department or floor wing. IT isolates network gear for separate handling. Server and data-centre moves may run on a parallel track with stricter change windows.
Phase 4 — After-hours cutover
Most Indian office moves load Friday night or Saturday to minimise downtime. The move manager holds the run sheet: truck sequence, lift bookings, security escorts. Facilities lead signs origin clear; destination lead confirms dock ready.
Phase 5 — Reinstall and IT hook-up
Desks and partitions reinstall before Monday arrival. IT validates power and network drops per seat map. Snagging list captures missing keys, damaged panels or misrouted cartons — resolved before employee walk-in.
Phase 6 — Sign-off
Facilities and the MoveNXT manager sign a joint completion report: cartons delivered, waste removed, damage notes closed. Only then is the project archived — preventing “ghost” items discovered weeks later.
