Condition survey
Measure, photograph, and note condition at your Guwahati address or gallery.
Moving art is not a household shift. Canvases, bronzes, works on paper, and installation pieces need condition surveys, custom crates, and vehicles that are not shared with general cargo. MoveNXT runs a dedicated fine art logistics desk for Guwahati with one manager from survey through handover.
We pick up and deliver across Dispur, GS Road, Uzan Bazar, Beltola. Regular fine art corridors link Guwahati with other Indian metros by air-ride road or air freight when fair dates are fixed.
Our process aligns with conservation practice referenced by the International Institute for Conservation (IIC) and cultural guidelines from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Use city pages for local pickup; open specialty desks for crating scope, fairs, or oversized works.
Paintings, sculptures, antiquities, design objects, and exhibition loans - each with its own crate spec. Nothing travels in standard relocation cartons.
Pickup, transit, and delivery with item-level condition notes at both ends.
Air-ride suspension and, when needed, air freight with the same documentation chain.
Intercity routing across India under one manager.
Domestic programme →Institutional moves, rotations, and venue coordination.
Museum relocation →Fair deadlines, loan returns, and private view installs.
Gallery logistics →Climate-monitored holding when install dates slip.
Storage options →Acid-free wrapping, foam lining, corner guards, and ISPM-15 timber crates built in workshop conditions - not on a loading bay. Each piece gets a photographed condition report before the crate is sealed.
Heavy bronzes, stone sculptures, and fragile works on paper need different internal armatures. Your survey drives the build; we do not reuse one-size cartons across unrelated collections.
Intercity programmes are coordinated under Domestic Fine Art Logistics with written scope after survey.
Air-ride road vehicles with GPS tracking; air freight when exhibition dates are fixed.
Long-distance moves use dual-driver shifts and climate-aware loading where the survey requires it.
Galleries and museums use MoveNXT for collection rotations, fair shipments, and venue installs. We coordinate loading docks, install crews, and insurance paperwork so works arrive when the venue is ready.
Private collectors receive the same process: one manager, written scope, and condition sign-off at delivery. This is art moving and fine art transportation - not generic packers and movers.
When renovation, lease gaps, or fair schedules do not align, crated works can sit in climate-monitored storage with access logs - short-term or for a loan cycle.
Warehouse & storage services use the same inventory chain as transit.
