Somenath Ganguly is a result-oriented operations professional with over 20 years of experience in fine art handling, relocation management, commercial project execution, industrial packing and supply chain management. As National Head - Operations at Grace Relocations Pvt. Ltd. (MoveNXT), he leads nationwide operations spanning fine art logistics, commercial projects, industrial packing and household goods relocation.

His expertise covers fine art relocation, commercial project management, household effects (HHE) relocation, inland and export operations, vendor management and end-to-end logistics across India. He is well-versed in international export packing standards, museum-grade art handling and the safe transportation of high-value and fragile assets.

A strategic planner with proven strength in supply chain management, operational excellence, process optimisation and resource planning, Somenath develops innovative packing solutions, expands intermodal logistics capability and implements operational strategies that improve productivity and service quality. Large-scale industrial and fine art logistics

Somenath has successfully executed numerous large-scale industrial and fine art logistics programmes, including:

Industrial projects - Movement and relocation of heavy industrial equipment, including rotors, turbines, heavy machinery and a complete baby food manufacturing plant.
Fine art management - Transportation and installation of a 72 ft × 9 ft wall-to-wall artwork for the New Parliament Building.
National Exhibition of Art (NEA) - Art logistics for the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, delivered for five consecutive years.
Museum antiquities - Handling, transportation, mounting and installation of antiquities for Bihar Museum, Patna Museum, Nalanda Museum and the Indian Museum.
Alongside these landmark assignments, he has managed many prestigious high-value projects involving fine art, museum collections, industrial equipment and commercial relocations across India.

Diploma in Project Management - Awarded by FIDI Academy, Belgium, covering international relocation, logistics, project planning, operational excellence and quality management.
Post Graduate Diploma in Preventive Conservation (PGDPC) - Completed at the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Ministry of Culture, Government of India. This qualification recognises him as a trained art conservator, with expertise in the preventive conservation, handling, preservation, packing, transportation, storage and installation of fine art, antiquities, museum collections and cultural heritage objects.
